Foliar Application of GA3 Stimulates Seed Production in Cauliflower

This study aimed to evaluate the influence of gibberellic acid on both concentration and time application seed production ability BU cauliflower-1. The experiment was conducted determine at five concentrations GA3: G0 = Control, G1 100 ppm, G2 200 G3 300 G4 400 along with four times different growth stages including T1 Foliar 3 weeks after planting, T2 4 T3 5 planting T4 6 planting. Results revealed that ppm GA3 gave highest plant height (44.05 cm), number primary (10.88) secondary flowering branches (31.33), stalk length (79.53 seeded pods per (465), pod (4.975 seeds (10.87), yield (16.16 g), (0.24 ton/ha), weight thousand (4.826 g) earliest curd (51.02 days) flower initiation (84.17 days). It also net return (Tk. 4.7 lakh/ha) benefit-cost ratio (4.34). transplanting had numbers branches, pods, plant. treatment combination G2T1 (49.60 days), (34.87), (22.75 (0.27 ton/h). In contrast, G2T2 resulted in (81.77 (5.20 (707), (507), (11.30). Hence, applied three could be used as best for cauliflower ratio. Enhancing is our ultimate goal; hence, we suggest increased area. As performed a particular location, recommend multilocation trials agro-ecological regions genotype–environment interaction final confirmation results.
